thermae is an open-air bathing landscape. Without walls, the pools emerge from the earth, their edges dissolving into the terrain, their surfaces lined with stone. Rising steam blurs the boundary between sky and water. The design follows the ground’s logic, shaping a series of pools that vary in depth, temperature, and atmosphere. One invite stillness, the other opens to the horizon. Water flows seamlessly between them, guided by subtle cuts in stone. Seclusion is found in immersion. More than a space, this is a living system, breathing with the elements. Here, bathing becomes an elemental ritual, where architecture is not imposed but revealed through the rhythms of nature.
